Terms of service

Last Updated: August 2026 Commercial terms governing your use of Griffin Construction Parts and our industrial procurement services.

OVERVIEW: Welcome to Griffin Construction Parts. The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Griffin Construction Parts, a commercial division of Griffin Group Inc. We operate this store and website, including all related information, tools, products, and services, to provide you, the customer, with a streamlined commercial and industrial procurement experience (the "Services"). Griffin Construction Parts is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

By visiting our site, interacting with our Services, requesting a quote, or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Commercial Terms of Service & Sale ("Terms"), including those additional policies referenced herein (such as our Privacy Policy and Return Policy). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use or access our Services.

1. Business-to-Business (B2B) Platform & Account Access

Griffin Construction Parts operates exclusively as a commercial and industrial supplier. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and that you are purchasing components for business, manufacturing, or agricultural purposes, and not for personal, family, or household consumer use.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all of your account activity. You represent and warrant that all billing, payment, and shipping information you provide is correct, current, and complete.

2. Pricing, Currency, and Billing

All prices displayed on this website are in US Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without prior notice. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors or omissions at our discretion. Unless otherwise expressly stated, posted prices do not include taxes, shipping, handling, customs, or import charges.

3. Equipment Fitment and Technical Accuracy

  • Customer Responsibility: While our team provides technical guidance, the buyer assumes total responsibility for verifying that a component is compatible with their specific machinery, flange patterns, voltage requirements, and pneumatic systems prior to purchase.
  • Modifications: We accept no liability for components installed on machinery that has been retrofitted, altered, or equipped with non-standard parts.
  • Data Accuracy: All technical specifications, weights, and dimensional data provided on our platform are sourced directly from the original manufacturer and are subject to standard manufacturing tolerances. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.

4. Safety and Installation Warnings

Industrial processing equipment and heavy machinery are inherently dangerous. The buyer acknowledges that improper installation, operation without OEM safety guards, or failure to follow standard Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures can result in severe property damage, injury, or death. Griffin Group Inc. assumes no liability for damages resulting from improper installation or the negligence of the buyer’s operators, mechanics, or contractors.

5. Freight Logistics and Delivery

All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Once we or our manufacturing partners transfer products to the freight carrier, title and risk of loss passes entirely to you (FOB Origin / Shipping Point).

  • Dock Requirements: Heavy components are shipped via Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight carriers. The buyer is entirely responsible for providing the necessary infrastructure, such as a loading dock or forklift, to safely unload the freight from the carrier upon arrival.
  • Refused Freight: Should a delivery be refused or deemed undeliverable due to the buyer's failure to unload the cargo, the buyer will be held liable for all original and return freight costs, alongside a 25% administrative restocking fee.

6. Billing Disputes and Collections

The buyer agrees to contact our support team directly at orders@gconparts.com to resolve any freight claims, return requests, or billing issues prior to initiating a chargeback with their financial institution. In the event of a chargeback filed in violation of our Return Policy, we reserve the right to submit these agreed-upon terms and delivery proofs to the acquiring bank. Accounts with unpaid B2B balances or fraudulent disputes may be forwarded to a commercial collections agency, with the buyer assuming responsibility for all subsequent legal and recovery fees.

7. Warranties and Limitation of Liability

  • Manufacturer Pass-Through Warranty: Griffin Construction Parts is an authorized distributor of third-party original equipment. We do not manufacture these components. All products are sold subject exclusively to the warranties provided by the original manufacturer. We expressly disclaim any independent warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, durability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • Waiver of Consequential Damages: TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PROVIDED BY LAW, IN NO CASE SHALL GRIFFIN GROUP INC., OUR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, AFFILIATES, OR PARTNERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND. This includes, without limitation, claims for facility downtime, lost revenue, lost profits, lost savings, or secondary machine damage resulting from the failure, defect, or delayed delivery of any part. Our maximum financial liability is strictly capped at the original purchase price of the specific item in question.

8. Relationship with Shopify

Griffin Construction Parts is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our store are made directly with Griffin Construction Parts. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and us, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims arising from your transactions with Griffin Construction Parts.

10. Agents and Automated Scraping

No "Agent" (software, AI, or automated service) may access, use, or interact with our Services unless it explicitly identifies itself in its HTTP/HTTPS requests. You agree not to use any robot, spider, scraping, or data gathering/extraction tools to access our catalog. We reserve the right to block, limit, or terminate access to any Agent or user violating these terms.

11. Third-Party Links & Optional Tools

The Services may contain hyperlinks to third-party websites (such as OEM spec sheets). We provide access to these links and third-party tools "as is" without any warranties. We are not liable for any harm or damages related to your access of third-party websites or tools.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Griffin Group Inc., Shopify, and our affiliates, partners, officers, and employees from any losses, damages, liabilities or claims, including reasonable attorneys' fees, payable to any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your improper use of the Services or components.

13. Severability & Waiver

In the event that any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms. The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right.

14. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms and all commercial transactions conducted through Griffin Construction Parts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. By engaging in business with us, you irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Vancouver, British Columbia, for the resolution of any legal disputes, regardless of your physical location or state of incorporation.

15. Changes to Terms of Service
